What Is Studio 24?
Not an internship.
A studio.
Studio 24 started as a work-based learning partnership between The Twenty Four Foundation and Manchester High School's Mass Communications program, training students to produce and host our Pro Mindset Speaker Series.
It's grown into a hands-on broadcast education program, giving students ownership of every stage of production, from teleprompter to final cut. Students aren't interning. They're learning to run a studio.
The Program

A simple rhythm that turns instinct into craft. Three tracks, from your first time on camera to a finished demo reel, taught through hands-on mentorship with working industry professionals.

Production
On-camera hosting, teleprompter delivery, interview technique, lighting, sound

Journalism
Reporting fundamentals, interview prep, story structure including sideline/sports journalism.

Editing
Full post-production workflow using industry-standard and AI-assisted editing tools. Every student leaves with a portfolio-ready demo reel of real work.

Studio 24's first cohort is currently in progress at Manchester High School, with outcomes tracked starting Year 1. Mentorship is delivered through a roster of working industry professionals, not one person's contact list, so the program's access to real production, journalism, and editing expertise is structural and repeatable. Studio 24 is open access: no prior experience or equipment is required, reflecting The Twenty Four Foundation's core value of Equity.
